John Johns has a strong background in human resources and organizational leadership. John started their career at Cellu Tissue Holdings in 1994, where they served as the Corporate Director & VP of Human Resources. During their time there, they were responsible for various aspects of people management, including HR strategy, operations, labor relations, legal compliance, and safety programs. John also played a vital role as the HR advisor to the CEO, contributing to the company's growth through acquisitions, expansion, and increased productivity.

In 2001, John joined Computer Sciences Corporation as the Global Human Resources Director, overseeing HR initiatives on a global scale until 2013. Afterward, they joined Monroe Energy, LLC in 2013 as the People & Organization Leader for the company. In their role, they led the HR and organizational development efforts for Monroe Energy, a subsidiary of Delta Air Lines. In 2017, they were promoted to Vice President before taking on their current position as the Chief Information & People Officer in 2022. Overall, John Johns has a wealth of experience in HR management, organizational development, and leadership roles.

John Johns obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management and Human Resources from Gettysburg College in 1992. John then pursued a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Connecticut School of Business from 1997 to 1999.
