Monrovia Fire / Rescue is an ISO Class 5 department with 59 volunteer Firefighters, EMT's, Support personnel, life members and Jr. Firefighters dedicated to serving the community in which we live by providing a quick and quality response to emergency calls including fire, rescue, medical emergencies, and extrication from motor vehicle accidents. We are also committed to public education through activities like Fire Prevention Week where we visit local schools. Averaging almost 4 calls per day, Monrovia is one of the busiest volunteer fire departments in the state of Alabama.
