Jose Refugio De La Cruz is an accomplished entrepreneur and design professional with extensive experience in the furniture industry. As the Founder and CEO of MonsoonBlue, a modern solid wood furniture brand since January 2025, Jose has directed operations to focus on direct-to-consumer sales. Prior roles include serving as Vice President of Merchandising, Design, and Brand Development for Foremost Groups, Inc. from March 2014 to January 2025, and as Director of Global Business Development at Dorel Industries from September 2009 to March 2014. Jose has also co-founded Febo International (HK), held various leadership positions at The Bombay Company and Bush Furniture Industries, and founded Refugio Inc. Educational qualifications include a BFA in Industrial Design from the University of Illinois Chicago and specialized training in mechanical drafting and art.
