Hitoshi Takabatake

Auditor at Monstar Lab

After graduating from Kwansei Gakuin University’s Faculty of Commerce, he joined Mitsui & Co., Ltd., with the accounting department as the first step, and then mainly engaged in import / export transactions, business investment and management in the steel and metal-related departments for about 30 years. Engaged in a wide range of industrial fields from resource development to trading and metal recycling. Based on such business experiences, he moved to the internal auditing department, acquired certification as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), etc., and practiced internal audits of the domestic and overseas business departments and the affiliated companies for 6 years. While working for the company, he was stationed in Stockholm, Manila, New York and other overseas offices for 13 years in total. He completed AMP course in Harvard Business School in 2006. From 2015 to 2019 he was appointed as a corporate auditor of Mitsui Knowledge Industry Co., Ltd. He has been appointed as an Auditor & Supervisory Board Member in Monstar Lab since Oct 2019.
