Yasuki Miki

Corporate Executive at Monstar Lab

From 1997 onwards, Miki undertook a managerial role, and oversaw several new business operations at Media Factory, a subsidiary of Recruit Holdings Co., Ltd.. During his time there, he worked as a producer on new projects which included planning the release of Pocket Monster characters, creating animation content, record labelling, and the establishment of the company’s International Business Division. In 2010, subsequent to earning an Information Technology MBA degree at the EDHEC Business School in France, Miki joined OKWAVE, Inc. which runs Japan’s biggest Q&A site. Upon conducting product development and launching new services within the company, he was appointed as the company’s corporate manager. With this, he overlooked the company’s corporate strategy, cooperative businesses, funds as well as start-up corporate spending and M&A operations. In 2013, Miki was selected as COO for OKWave’s United States subisidary. In 2015, Miki took up the position of chief business development executive officer within the Japanese subsidiary of Adroll (San Francisco, California)– the world’s largest digital marketing platform. With the success of establishing said Japanese subsidiary company, in 2017, Miki joined Lawson HMV Entertainment, Inc. as chief strategy officer and executive producer. There, he overlooked decisions related to corporate strategy and new business launches.
