Peter Birk

Peter Birk has been a Chairman at MonTa Biosciences since July 2020. Prior to that, they served as a Committee Member at the BioInnovation Institute from November 2018 to July 2020.

Birk has also been involved with the Spark Program and Accelerace Management A/S in the past. Additionally, they have served as a Jury Member for the Women Who Tech Startup Challenge from July 2019 to December 2021.

Before their current position, Birk was with Oncology Venture (now Allarity Therapeutics) as a Board Member from February 2015 to December 2018. Prior to that, they were with EpiTherapeutics ApS as Vice President, Biology from October 2009 to April 2014.

Birk began their career as CSO at ACE BioSciences A/S in May 2008 and left the company in October 2009.

Peter Birk has a Ph.D. in protein engineering from the Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Toulouse and a Master in molecular biology from Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark.
