Steven Packer

Steven Packer serves as President and CEO of both Montage Health and Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula, holding these positions since February 1999 and 1988, respectively. Packer has held various leadership roles, including Chief of Staff, Medical Director of the Respiratory Care Department, Medical Director of the Intensive Care Unit, and Vice Chief of Staff at Community Hospital. Prior experience includes a role in pulmonary and critical care medicine in private practice from 1987 to 1999. Packer's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of California, San Francisco - School of Medicine, a Bachelor of Science in Biology from UC Irvine, and additional education from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
