Robert Jin

Robert Jin currently serves as the VP of Engineering at Montage Technology, Inc., a position held since February 2024. Previously, Robert held the title of Engineering Director and Sr. Engineering Manager at the same company from July 2019 to January 2023 and 2006 to January 2019, respectively. Prior to that, Robert was a Sr. Staff Analog Designer at Intel from 2001 to 2006, leading efforts for XAUI/SAS/SATA/Fibre Channel PHY Analog IP. Robert's career began at SEEQ Technology, Inc./LSI Logic from 1993 to 2000 as an Analog Designer/Principal Engineer, where extensive contributions included the design of multiple PHY chips. Earlier experience includes an Analog Designer role at Micro Linear from 1990 to 1993, focusing on a CMOS 10 Base-T PHY. Robert Jin holds a BS in Physics from Fudan University and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Oregon State University.
