Helen Marrison

Helen works in the Historic Environment and Townscape team and provides expert advice on development that affects heritage assets and the appearance and function of an area.

Her experience ranges from complex listed building projects to large-scale masterplans and strategic infrastructure, where there may be heritage setting considerations or other sensitive land. She has worked on a number of Appeals and strategic land promotions.

Helen has a proven track record for identifying solutions for her clients on complex and high-profile projects, including highly graded listed buildings and the development of tall buildings.

Helen has a particular strength in built heritage, townscape and visual impact assessment for Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). She works regularly with the leading EIA coordinators, and she has a strong understanding of the specific requirements involved with EIA development.
