Carmen Lam has a diverse range of work experience in the scientific research field. Carmen currently holds the position of Principal Scientist at Montai Health since 2023. Previously, they worked as a Senior Scientist at Repertoire Immune Medicines from 2021 to 2022 and as a Senior Scientist at Sigilon Therapeutics, Inc. from 2020 to 2021.

From 2018 to 2020, Carmen held roles at Forkhead BioTherapeutics Inc. where they served as a Principal Scientist and later as a Senior Scientist. In these roles, they led the development and implementation of stable cell lines and 3-D organoids for cell-based assays. Carmen began their career as an Odyssey Fellow at MD Anderson Cancer Center from 2007 to 2012. During this time, they studied the role of epidermal growth factor receptor in tumor progression and investigated the contribution of cancer stem cells to the progression of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.

Overall, Carmen Lam has extensive experience in scientific research, with notable expertise in assay development, drug discovery, and pre-clinical and clinical trial support.

Carmen Lam holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Baylor College of Medicine.
