Kyle Chiang

Kyle Chiang has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Kyle is currently working as the COO at Montai Health since May 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Principal at Flagship Pioneering starting from June 2021. From September 2021 to January 2023, they served as the Interim CSO at Senda Biosciences.

In their previous role at LogicBio Therapeutics, they held multiple positions including Chief Operating Officer from November 2020 to May 2021, VP Program Management and Operations / VP Product Strategy from February 2018 to October 2020, LB-001 Program Lead from January 2017 to September 2020, and Director of Translational Science from October 2016 to January 2018.

Before joining LogicBio Therapeutics, Kyle worked at aTyr Pharma where they had various roles including Associate Director of Clinical Science from February 2016 to October 2016, Program Lead from August 2011 to October 2016, and Principal Scientist / Senior Scientist / Scientist in the Discovery Biology Group from April 2009 to January 2016.

Kyle also gained postdoctoral experience as an American Cancer Society Postdoctoral Fellow at Rockefeller University from January 2007 to April 2009. Prior to that, they were a CBCRP Predoctoral Fellow and ARCS Scholar at The Scripps Research Institute from September 2001 to August 2006. Kyle also worked as a Research Associate at The Scripps Research Institute from April 2000 to June 2001 and from April 1999 to January 2000.

Kyle Chiang obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from UC San Diego between 1997 and 2001. Kyle then pursued further education and completed their PhD in Macromolecular and Cellular Structure and Chemistry at Scripps Research from 2001 to 2006.
