Noubar Afeyan

Noubar Afeyan has significant work experience in the field of life sciences and innovation. Noubar founded and served as the CEO of Flagship Pioneering, a company that has created and developed over 100 scientific ventures, resulting in billions of dollars in value. Afeyan is also a co-founder and chairman of several other companies including Moderna Therapeutics, Omega Therapeutics, Generate Biomedicines, Apriori Bio, Tessera Therapeutics, Montai Health, Alltrna, and ProFound Therapeutics. Noubar is a member of the Board of Trustees at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Noubar Afeyan obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from McGill University from 1980 to 1983. Noubar later pursued a PhD in Biochemical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, completing their studies from 1983 to 1987.
