Growing up in the shadows of the Adirondack Mountains of New York, Liz spent her youth backpacking, canoeing, and exploring the outdoors with her family. After getting a B.A. in Political Science and Environmental Conservation/Sustainability at University of New Hampshire (with a brief interlude studying in New Zealand), Liz moved to northwest Montana. She worked as a hiking and backpacking guide in Glacier National Park for two summers before moving down to Bozeman. Liz enjoys running, mountain biking, skiing, and unironically listening to Dave Matthews Band.
