Chris Dubois

Information Services Section Supervisor at Montana Department of Environmental Quality

Chris Dubois has a diverse work history in the field of web development, design, and graphic design. They started their career as a Research Analyst, Web Designer, and Graphic Designer with the Connecticut Department of Labor from 1999 to 2003. During this time, Chris contributed to the development of various websites and marketing materials, winning national awards for two dynamic websites.

From 2003 to 2004, Chris worked as an Independent Contractor at PCC Technology Inc, focusing on accessibility, graphics, and web development. They updated code for web applications to meet web accessibility standards and designed a small content management system tool.

In 2004, Chris joined the Connecticut Department of Labor again, this time as a Research Analyst, Web Designer, and Graphic Designer. They were involved in organizing agency job fairs, designing and developing marketing materials, and serving on various committees, including the CT Learns & Works Conference committee.

In 2005, Chris joined the State of Montana as a Web Developer, UI/UX Designer, and Server Administrator. They were part of a development team, focusing on user experience and user interface design for eGovernment web applications. Chris also provided web server administration, graphic design, and web analytics support until 2020.

Currently, as of 2020, Chris is working at the Montana Department of Environmental Quality as the Information Services Section Supervisor, overseeing the department's information services.

Chris Dubois obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Saint Anselm College from 1993 to 1997. Later, from 2010 to 2017, Chris received training in User Experience, Front-End Development, and Agile Scrum Methodology at ikuw solutions. In terms of certifications, Chris obtained the FitSM® Foundation in Service Management from APMG International in October 2020, the Effective Management Series - PD5082 from the State of Montana Professional Development Center (PDC) in February 2019, and the Certified Professional Scrum Master (PSM 1) from Scrum.org in February 2017.
