Staci Stolp has a diverse work experience spanning a range of industries and roles. Staci started their career as a Microbiology Graduate Student and Teacher's Assistant at the University of Iowa, where they conducted research on bacterial strains and investigated the oxidation of aromatic hydrocarbon compounds. Staci then worked as a Microbiologist at Mycotech Corporation, conducting research and development on insect and plant pathogenic fungi.
After that, Staci held multiple roles at the Air Force Nuclear Weapons and Counterproliferation Agency, Counterproliferation Division, where they served as a Microbiologist/Analyst and facilitated partnerships for modeling and simulation efforts. Staci also provided expertise in chemical and biological defense and managed budgets for modeling tools.
Staci then transitioned to the Montana Department of Environmental Quality, where they worked as a Water Quality Specialist and coordinated the development and submission of water quality reports. Staci also managed a public access internet clearinghouse for water quality information.
At the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services, Staci served as a Business Analyst and later as a Project Manager. Staci was responsible for various projects, including the design, development, and implementation of a document management system, as well as the conversion of paper files to electronic images.
Most recently, Staci worked as an IT Systems Engineer at the Montana Department of Environmental Quality, where they managed project schedules, budgets, and resources. Staci also coordinated vendor contracts and ensured adherence to project management standards and processes.

Staci Stolp's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Biology from Whitman College, which they obtained from 1990 to 1994. Staci then pursued a Master's of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Iowa, attending from 1994 to 1996.
