Alan Grover

Alan Grover has a diverse work experience in the technology and IT security field. Alan started their career as an IT Officer at Mountain West Bank, where they managed a technology budget and provided support for multiple offices. Alan then worked as a Sr Enterprise Systems Administrator at DA Davidson & Company, where they assisted in managing a virtual server environment and provided support for Windows Active Directory services. After that, they joined American Federal Savings Bank as a Network Administrator, where they managed IT security and prepared for OCC security audits. Currently, Alan works at Montana Office of Public Instruction as a Security Officer and lead security analyst, where they are responsible for implementing security framework and controls for web applications and network systems. Alan also leads the development of security plans and risk assessments for various applications and servers.

Alan Grover obtained a degree in Network Administration from Western Governors University between 2009 and 2012. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including CISSP from (ISC)² in 2018, MCITP - Server Administrator 2008 from Microsoft in 2012, and various certifications from CompTIA, VMware, and Cisco in 2011 and 2009.
