María Phillips

María Phillips, CAP, serves as the Finance & Office Administrator at St. Paul Lutheran Church Missoula since June 2023. With extensive experience in the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP), María currently holds the position of Chair-Elect on the IAAP Board of Directors, responsible for providing leadership, governance, and oversight while monitoring financial health and leading strategic planning. Other roles at IAAP have included Board Director, Region Director, and Branch Director. María is also involved with WA-Alliance as part of the Communications Team and serves as a Notary Public for the State of Montana. Additionally, María is a Loyal Royal at The PA Way and an Advisory Board Member for the Admin Awards, recognizing the achievements of administrative professionals. Formerly, María coordinated several roles at Community Medical Center, including Learning & Advancement Center Coordinator and Executive Assistant to leadership. Educational qualifications include a certification in Administrative Assistant and Secretarial Science from IAAP and a Global Travel Professional designation.
