Ira Wagner

Ira Wagner is an experienced executive and educator, currently serving as the Executive Director of the Montclair Art Museum since May 2020, while also teaching as an Adjunct Professor of Photography at Monmouth University since 2013. Since 2008, Ira Wagner has been self-employed as a consultant, focusing on capital markets and litigation services for financial institutions and law firms. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Bear Stearns as Senior Managing Director leading the CDO and ABS Groups from 1996 to 2008, and earlier roles at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and First Boston as a Senior Vice President and Managing Director, respectively. Ira Wagner holds a Master of Fine Arts in Photography from the University of Hartford, an MBA from The Wharton School, and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from the University of Virginia.
