Derek Swafford

Derek Swafford has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Derek began their career in professional sports as a Second Baseman for the Pittsburgh Pirates from 1993 to 1997. Following their baseball career, they transitioned into the finance sector, starting as a Store Manager for Wells Fargo Financial from 2004 to 2006. Derek then became a District Manager for the same company from 2007 to 2010, where they excelled in sales and team management. Swafford then joined Wells Fargo Bank as a District Manager from 2010 to 2012, overseeing multiple locations and achieving significant improvements in customer service and sales. Derek continued their banking career with Fremont Bank from 2012 to 2013 as a Relationship Officer, managing high net worth accounts and a substantial loan portfolio. Swafford then joined Union Bank as a Vice President from 2013 to 2016, where they took charge of a struggling SBBT merger office and successfully turned it around. Afterward, they served as the CEO of Shamrocks Unlimited, Inc. from 2016 to the present.
