Gisela Ferreira is a highly skilled professional in the fields of bioengineering, biomedical engineering, and management, currently serving as the Technical and R&D Manager at Monteiro Fabrics since December 2012, after progressively advancing through roles as R&D Manager and quality engineer. Prior to this, Gisela held an assistant professor position at Universidade Católica Portuguesa's Centro Regional do Porto from September 2012 to December 2014 and gained experience as a Trainee in R&D and Government Incentives at Deloitte. Additional roles include internships at various institutions, such as INL and Instituto Português do Sangue, focusing on biosensors, workcell optimization, and the structural evaluation of materials for prosthetics. Gisela holds a Master's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto and a Master's degree in Management from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, complemented by an intensive management program at Porto Business School in May 2024.
