Kobun Truelove

Kobun is a senior research technician in the Biological Oceanography Group. Kobun’s responsibilities include a focus on understanding how and why marine ecosystems vary over space and time. Kobun holds a Ph.D. in environmental biology from the University of Manchester, UK; a master’s degree in fisheries science from Oregon State University; and a bachelor’s degree in cell and molecular biology from the University of Washington. Prior to joining MBARI, Kobun performed postdoctoral fellowships at Stanford University, Hopkins Marine Station, and at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. In addition, Kobun worked in research capacities at the University of Manchester.
