Matthew Quontamatteo

Matthew Quontamatteo is an experienced vineyard technician currently employed at Monterey Pacific, Inc. since February 2019. In this role, Matthew manages phenological records, monitors soil moisture, troubleshoots vineyard technology, and assists the Vineyard Manager with various tasks related to vineyard maintenance. Previously, Matthew served as a viticulture intern at Stag's Leap Wine Cellars and Conn Creek Winery, where viticulture management plans were developed, and vineyard quality was monitored. Prior experience includes an operations internship at E. & J. Gallo Winery, where field samples and pest scouting were conducted, and a student manager position at California Polytechnic State University's Swine Unit, overseeing herd operations and employee management. Early roles included assisting with park management at East Bay Regional Park District and ranch maintenance at The Rhoda Ranch. Matthew holds a Bachelor's degree in Agribusiness/Agricultural Business Operations from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
