Donald Williams has a diverse work experience in the aviation industry. Donald is currently working as the Operations Manager at Monterey Regional Airport since July 2022. Prior to this, they held the positions of Senior Airport Operations Specialist II and Senior Airport Operations Specialist I at Norman Y. Mineta San Jose Int'l Airport from November 2019 to July 2022. Donald also served as a Crew Chief at Airport Terminal Services from November 2016 to October 2019. As a Crew Chief, they managed teams responsible for delivering services and products, participated in flight crew debriefings, and allocated crew members and equipment to various airlines and tenants.
Donald Williams earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Aviation/Airway Management and Operations from San Jose State University, where they attended from 2013 to 2019. Donald has also obtained several additional certifications, including an Airport Security Coordinator Certification (ASC) from AAAE in September 2022, an Introduction to Incident command systems IS-100.C certification from FEMA in August 2022, an Airport Security certification from ACI Airport Council International in June 2022, and an Introduction to the National Incident Management System IS-700.B certification from FEMA in November 2019.
