Rina Doherty has extensive experience in human factors engineering, having worked in various roles across multiple organizations. At Monterey Technologies, Inc., Rina served as a Research Scientist and later a Principal Human Factors Engineer, applying human-centered systems engineering to critical systems design. As a Human Factors Research Analyst at Human Automation & Integration Lab, Rina conducted complex-system analyses and interface design. Rina's consulting experience at ISS Consultants involved leading a psychoacoustic study for Intel Corporation, where significant findings on user perception of noise were achieved. At Intel, Rina advanced to Senior Human Factors Engineer and ultimately became a Senior UX/DX Designer and Director of AI & HPC Software Developer Experience Research & Design, managing research teams and defining metrics for user experience. Rina holds a Master of Science in Human Factors/Ergonomics from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology/Exercise Science from Acadia University.
