Hale Barter

President | Groundwater Hydrologist at Montgomery & Associates

Hale Barter began their work experience as a Hydrogeologist at Hargis + Associates, Inc. in 1988 and worked there until 1991. Hale then joined Montgomery & Associates in 1994, where they held various roles including Groundwater Hydrologist and Chief Financial Officer. In 2018, they became the President and Groundwater Hydrologist at Montgomery & Associates, overseeing their operations and leading hydrologic modeling projects. Throughout their career, they have specialized in developing flow-and-transport models for projects related to mine dewatering, water supply feasibility, pumping impacts, and managed aquifer recharge.

Hale Barter holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Hydrology and Water Resources Science from the University of Arizona. Hale completed this degree from 1991 to 1995. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in the same field from the University of Arizona between 1983 and 1988.
