Elizabeth Hamilton

Elizabeth Hamilton is an experienced professional in the field of developmental disability services, currently serving as an Investigative Agent at the Montgomery County Board of Developmental Disability Services since November 2017. Prior to this role, Elizabeth held the position of Regional Program Director at Advocacy & Protective Services, Inc. from September 2000 to November 2017, overseeing a team of up to 14 employees and managing caseloads for approximately 780 individuals across 17 counties in Ohio. Elizabeth's experience also includes roles as a Protective Service Representative, Health Education Specialist at the Greene County Combined Health Department, and various positions at the Greene County Domestic Violence Shelter, where advocacy for victims and effective case management were central responsibilities. Elizabeth holds a Master’s degree in Applied Behavioral Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice, both from Wright State University.

Montgomery County Board of Developmental Disabilities Services

The Montgomery County Board of Developmental Disabilities Services is the local government agency that coordinates services and funding for eligible children and adults who are residents of Montgomery County and have a qualifying diagnosis of an intellectual or developmental disability. Our agency connects people to critical services in the community, including case management, transportation, employment support, adult day services and residential services. We also offer a variety of direct services to individuals with developmental disabilities that are locally funded through the Montgomery County Human Services Levy--services designed to help families who wish to support their child in their home, including: early intervention services, mental health services, behavior support services, respite, adaptive equipment, recreation, self-advocacy programming and crisis intervention services.
