Shannon Cox

Shannon Cox is an experienced educator with a robust career in various leadership roles within the Montgomery County Educational Service Center since August 2009, currently serving as Superintendent. Prior positions include Associate Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, and Executive Director of Instructional Services, with a focus on managing and developing instructional services, including Race to the Top initiatives, curriculum, state initiatives, and STEM education. Prior to this, Shannon held the role of Curriculum Supervisor at Springboro Community City Schools from August 2006 to July 2009, and served as Principal at Middletown Madison Local Schools and Valley View Local Schools. Shannon began their career as a teacher and coach and holds a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Miami University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the same institution. Further educational pursuits took place at the University of Dayton.
