Paul Butler

Paul Butler currently serves as the Chief Delegate and Delegate Manager for the Montgomery County, PA Department of Health and Human Services, focusing on the involuntary mental health commitment process since March 2024. Prior to this role, Paul has extensive experience in various positions, including the Aging and Adult Protective Services After-Hours Coordinator at Montgomery County Emergency Service, where responsibilities included coordinating support staff and managing report calls. Additional roles included Community Liaison at Horsham Clinic, Assistant Director of Crisis Intervention, and Regional Forensic Liaison for Southeastern Pennsylvania. Paul holds a B.A. in Psychology from Temple University and an A.A. in Human Behavior from Delaware County Community College. Paul has also owned and operated Mad Hatter Photo and volunteered as a firefighter at Norriton Fire Company Station 61.
