Elizabeth Black is the Director of Purchasing at Montgomery County Government since March 2024. Prior to this role, Elizabeth served as the Administrator of Elections at Montgomery County from February 2017 to April 2024, and as the Communications Director/PIO from November 2007 to February 2017. Elizabeth also worked as an Adjunct Faculty at Austin Peay State University from September 2009 to December 2011, and as a Public Relations Coordinator at Gateway Health System from October 2001 to October 2007. Additionally, Elizabeth has experience as an Administrative Assistant at Martha Elliott Interiors. Elizabeth holds an MBA from Murray State University and a BBA in Business Management from Austin Peay State University.
