Emily Halden Brown

Emily Halden Brown is an experienced public health professional currently serving as Program Manager for the Ending the HIV Epidemic initiative at Montgomery County Government since September 2020. Prior to this role, Emily was a Public Health Consultant at Powershare, LLC and held leadership positions at AbsoluteCARE Medical Center & Pharmacy in Marketing and Community Engagement. Emily's background also includes significant work with Georgia Equality as HIV & Education Programs Director, where management of advocacy projects and programs supporting LGBTQ youth was a key focus. Additional consultancy roles at The Health Initiative and Emory University highlight Emily's expertise in designing training modules and developing best practice guides for LGBTQ youth in child welfare systems. Emily's earlier experience includes research and program management in HIV prevention and public health initiatives across various academic and healthcare settings, supported by a strong educational foundation with multiple degrees from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
