David Owen, MS, ARNP, NP-C, is a highly experienced healthcare professional with a diverse background in emergency and hospital care. Currently serving as the Lead Hospitalist at Montgomery County Memorial Hospital + Clinics, David provides care for ill and injured patients in rural southwest Iowa. David also holds the position of Medical Examiner Investigator for Fremont County, conducting investigations into unattended and unexpected deaths. As a long-standing member of the Hamburg and Tabor Volunteer Rescue Squad, David functions as a paramedic, delivering advanced life support care. Previously, David worked as a Family/Emergency Nurse Practitioner at Medical Clinic, P.C., and provided emergency medical care at St. Mary's Hospital. David has experience as a primary flight nurse with LifeNet Air Medical Transport and has worked in various nursing roles, including as an emergency room nurse and ICU nurse.
