Ron Kloewer has a diverse work experience spanning several positions and companies. Ron began their career in 1977 as a Division Manager at Oakview Construction Company, where they managed national client accounts for retail and daycare construction projects. Ron also oversaw heavy industrial and municipal projects in the Omaha market.
In 1987, Ron joined Montgomery County Memorial Hospital as a Project Manager, where they successfully led the construction of a new $10 million replacement hospital. Ron was responsible for acquiring $2 million worth of new equipment and coordinating the move from the old location to the new facility.
In 1992, Ron transitioned to a leadership role at Montgomery County Memorial Hospital, serving as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and later becoming the Chief Operating Officer (COO). As the CIO, they had executive responsibility for the development, management, and business effectiveness of all information systems and related technologies. Ron was also accountable for ensuring the privacy, security, and integrity of patient, provider, employee, and business information. Additionally, Ron supervised the hospital's six owned physician clinics and support services departments. As the COO, they played a crucial role in the hospital's administrative leadership.
Most recently, Ron became the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Montgomery County Memorial Hospital in March 2021. In this role, they are responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the hospital.

Ron Kloewer, MHA has a diverse education history. Ron began their academic journey at Iowa Western Community College, where they earned an AS in Civil Engineering Technology from 1974 to 1976. Later, they attended Bellevue University from 2010 to 2011, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Management of Information Systems. Ron further pursued their education at Bellevue University, completing a Master of Health Administration with a concentration in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from 2012 to 2016.
In addition to their formal education, Ron Kloewer has obtained additional certifications related to their field. In November 2015, they became a Certified Healthcare CIO (CHCIO) through the CHIME institution. In April 2015, they also received the Certified Professional in Health Information & Management Systems (CPHIMS) certification from HIMSS.
