Tsaiquan Gatling

Tsaiquan Gatling is an experienced urban planner currently serving as a Planner III at the Montgomery County Planning Department since September 2022. Previously, Tsaiquan worked as a Senior Environmental Planner/Planner II for the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission from June 2019 to September 2022, and as a Designer at OEHME, VAN SWEDEN | OvS from July 2017 to June 2019. Early career roles include a Landscape Design Intern at SWA Group, a Community Design Assistant at the University of Southern California, and Data Analyst positions at both IMG-Crown Energy Services and the U.S. Department of Energy. Tsaiquan holds a Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Southern California and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Environmental Science and Environmental Science & Technology from the University of Maryland.
