Jon Lobenstine

Jon Lobenstine has extensive experience in agronomy and turf management, currently serving as the Director of Agronomy at the Montgomery County Revenue Authority (MCRA) since December 2003, overseeing operations across nine golf courses and a vineyard. Previously, Jon held the position of 2nd Assistant Superintendent at Chevy Chase Club from December 1999 to December 2003, where responsibilities included managing a Rain Bird irrigation system and implementing safety protocols that significantly reduced workplace accidents. Jon possesses a 2-year Certificate in Advanced Turfgrass Management from Penn State University World Campus and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from The University of Kansas, complemented by a course on Spanish at the University of Costa Rica.
