John Rurka

John Rurka has a diverse work experience in the field of Human Resources. John began their career at Insperity in 2003, where they served as a Team Manager in HR Services for eight years. John then worked as a Director at America Works from September 2011 to April 2012. Following this, they joined The University of Chicago as a Human Resources Generalist from October 2012 to March 2014. Subsequently, they worked at ARAMARK Healthcare as a Human Resources Manager from March 2014 to October 2015. John then briefly served as a Human Resources Director at Chicago Behavioral Hospital from October 2015 to December 2015. Afterward, they worked as a Human Resources Representative at Valley Fire Protection Systems, LLC in May 2016. Currently, they hold the position of a Human Resources Manager at Montgomery Place Retirement Community, starting from January 2017.

John Rurka holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Illinois Wesleyan University. John also has pursued Continuing Education in Human Resources Management and Services from DePaul University. Additionally, John obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute in December 2012.
