Anita Allen

Anita Allen is an experienced educator currently serving as an Ed Farm Fellow since August 2022, facilitating growth and change among a cohort of teachers. Allen has been with Montgomery Alabama Public Schools since August 2016 as a highly qualified Secondary History Teacher and was recognized as Teacher of the Year for the 2022-2023 school year. In addition to teaching, Allen has held various leadership roles, including Team Lead and Department Chair. Prior to this, Allen was the Lead Teacher at Phalen Leadership Academies and the District Team Lead at Primerica. Experience also includes a position as a Customer Service Representative at Alabama Power Company and a Recreation Aide with the City of Montgomery. Anita Allen holds a Master of Public Administration from Auburn University at Montgomery and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Alabama State University.
