Mindy Porter

Mindy Porter has extensive work experience in the finance and accounting field. Mindy began their career as an Accountant II at Montgomery Water Works & Sanitary Sewer Board in 1994 and worked in this role until 2008. From 2009 to 2020, they served as the Assistant Utility Comptroller before being promoted to the role of Utility Comptroller in 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Financial Officer at Montgomery Water Works & Sanitary Sewer Board. Prior to their work at the Board, Mindy worked as a Property Accounting Manager at Homecorp from 1991 to 1994.

Mindy Porter earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from Auburn University at Montgomery from 1990 to 1995. Mindy further pursued their education at Troy University in Montgomery and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Accounting from 2000 to 2002.
