Eric Farthing has a robust background in flooring and retail management, currently serving as the Floor Covering Manager at Montgomery's since June 2021. As the Business Owner of Dakota Decals & T's since April 2015, Eric specializes in custom vinyl decals and apparel. Previous roles include Product Sales Manager at Builders FirstSource/Probuild, where Eric focused on construction and remodeling products, and Floorcovering Specialist at Floor To Ceiling. Eric's experience also encompasses managing the flooring department at Slumberland Furniture and providing sales support at various furniture and flooring establishments. Eric holds an Associate’s Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Lake Area Technical Institute.

We are proud to be family owned and operated in South Dakota. For five generations Montgomery's has been run by the same family. Spanning over 130 years and 5 generations, Montgomery's has provided Eastern South Dakotans with a place to purchase their home furnishing. Montgomery's is currently owned and operated by fourth and fifth generation family members Clark, Connie, Eric and Neala Sinclair.
