Jay Binder has a diverse work experience spanning across different industries. Jay served as the Chief Operating Officer at Monti, Inc. from June 2014. Prior to that, they held the same position at Byer Steel from October 2011 to June 2014, and briefly served as the Vice President of Operations at the company from June 2011 to October 2011.

Before their tenure at Byer Steel, Jay held multiple roles at Composite Technologies Company, LLC. From October 2009 to June 2011, they served as the Director of Plastics Operations. Jay also held the position of President and Chief Operating Officer from July 2007 to October 2009, and Director of Engineering and Quality Process Manager from March 2006 to July 2007.

Jay has also worked at Ford Motor Company's Sharonville Transmission Plant, where they held various positions from 1992 to 2006. Their roles included 5R110 Transmission Assembly Manufacturing Engineering Section Supervisor, Manufacturing Planning Specialist, Manufacturing Engineer, Maintenance Supervisor, Plant TPM Coordinator, Area Maintenance Supervisor, and Passive Restraint Steering Column Assembly and Test.

Earlier in their career, Jay worked at Milliken & Company as a Process Improvement Engineer from June 1989 to March 1992, where they started as a shift supervisor and progressed in their role.

Jay Binder completed their Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology from 1985 to 1989. Jay then pursued a Masters degree in Business Administration from Xavier University between 2008 and 2010. Prior to their college education, they attended St. Xavier High School from 1981 to 1985, where they completed a College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program. In 2008, Jay Binder also enrolled in a Course for Presidents at Aileron, although the end year of their studies is not specified.
