Monticello Academy
Monticello Academy preschool was founded in 1995, and our elementary/middle school was founded in 2003, out of a desire for high quality child care and education in Santa Clara County. Monticello Academy education is based on a deep understanding of the needs of the growing child and the maturing adolescent. Through a rich curriculum and innovative teaching methods, Monticello Academy education addresses the whole child, working to develop clarity in thought, balance in feeling and initiative in action. Our academic program challenges students to develop clear, creative thought and expression, and our nurturing social environment and work with practical skills develops students' confidence. Most of all, the close relationships at our school help students develop a strong sense of themselves and an awareness of others. Our students receive much individual attention and guidance. Faculty members work closely with students, helping them to learn academic discipline and responsibility and teaching them to work independently. The social life of our school is lively and warm, and students thrive in a caring community of teachers and peers. The inherent security they experience in Monticello Academy enables students to look to the future with confidence. Monticello Academy offers Preschool through Grade Eight, with two campuses within minutes of each other.
