Rachid Chtatar

Rachid CHTATAR is currently serving as Control Center Coordinator at the Port of Montreal since February 2023. Prior to this role, Rachid CHTATAR worked as Vessel Traffic Service Supervisor at the Tangier City Port Management Company from August 2018 to February 2023 and was a Fisheries Observer for ICCAT and COFREPECHE from May 2016 to June 2018. Rachid CHTATAR began a maritime career as a Deck Officer and Deck Cadet at Marona between June 2013 and September 2014. Educational achievements include a Master's degree in Surveying & Maritime Internet of Things from the International Hellenic University and ongoing PhD studies in Marine Sciences at Abdelmalek Essaadi University. Previous degrees also include a Master's in Marine Environment and a Deck Officer Diploma from the Higher Institute of Maritime Fisheries of Agadir.
