Kelli Burgin

Director Of The Faculty Of Technology And Human Industry at Montreat College

Kelli Burgin has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and industry. Kelli started their career as a Computer Instructor at the Enhanced Training Opportunities Program (ETOP) in 1999 and held the position until 2004. Following that, they worked as the Manager of IT at Audubon County Memorial Hospital from 2004 to 2015. In 2016, they joined Montreat College as an Assistant Professor of Cybersecurity, and later became the Cybersecurity Department Chair. Currently, they hold the position of Director of the Faculty of Technology and Human Industry at Montreat College from July 2022.

Kelli Burgin holds a Master's degree in CIS from Bellevue University, which they obtained from 1999 to 2004. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from the University of Northern Iowa, completing their studies between 1983 and 1989. Kelli also has additional certifications, including CISSP from (ISC)², obtained in September 2015, and Network+ and A+ from CompTIA, obtained in 2001 and 1999 respectively.
