Alfred Gilchrist

Director at Montrose Memorial Hospital

Alfred Gilchrist was elected to the MMH Board of Directors in 2020. He is an accomplished, recently retired senior executive with extensive experience in leadership positions and demonstrated achievements in health care advocacy organizations. Alfred graduated from Winthrop University with a degree in Business Administration and Texas State University with a Masters of Health Care Professions. Prior to moving to Montrose in 2020, Alfred lived for 15 years in Denver where he served as CEO at the Colorado Medical Society. He served as legislative director at the Texas Medical Association in Austin, Texas for 16 years prior to moving to Denver. In his spare time, Alfred enjoys family and friends, reading, skiing, golf and travel.
