Mary Vader

Dr. Mary Vader is number seven out of 11 children born and raised on a ranch in Gunnison and was elected to the MMHI Board of Directors in 2013. She studied medicine at North Texas State University and Pediatrics at St Joseph’s Medical Center in Phoenix. The western slope called her back and she joined Pediatric Associates in 1990. She specializes in child abuse and neglect and provides forensic exams and consultation for the 7th Judicial District. A passion has been to take vacation time to participate in medical missions all over the world which she has done for 26 years. Mary is active in local community service and started a foundation called the Helping Hand Fund, part of the Montrose Community Foundation.
