Coral Ann Hackett's work experience includes various roles in healthcare and academia. Coral Ann worked at Montrose Memorial Hospital, starting as a Director of the Family Center in 2004 and eventually becoming the Chief Nursing Officer in 2018. In addition to their directorial role, they also served as the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer, overseeing various departments and assisting their directors with management. Coral Ann left Montrose Memorial Hospital in 2017.
Hackett also worked as an Adjunct Faculty at Colorado Northwestern Community College from 2013 onwards, as well as at Colorado Christian University from 2008 to 2019. Coral Ann was also an Adjunct Faculty member at University of Phoenix from 2009 to 2017.
In 2019, Hackett joined Western Governors University as an Evaluator, a role they held until 2020. Prior to their time in academia, they worked at Mountain View Hospital as the Manager of the Perinatal Unit, where they were involved in various aspects of the unit's establishment. Before that, they were the Manager of the Couplet Care Unit, where they played a key role in relocating the obstetrical department to a separate facility.
Coral Ann Hackett has a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in Nursing Administration from Grand Canyon University, which they obtained from 2016 to 2018. Coral Ann also holds another Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in Nursing from the same university during the same period. Hackett has a Master of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Phoenix, which they completed in 2007. Coral Ann completed their MSN degree from the University of Phoenix from 2004 to 2006. In 2005, they achieved a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Phoenix. Hackett started their education journey in 1994 by earning an Associates Degree in Nursing from Mojave Community College. Coral Ann began their higher education at York Community College by completing an Associate of Arts degree from 1984 to 1986.
