Stephen Immerman

Stephen Immerman has had a long and successful career in academia. Stephen began working at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1979, where they held various positions until 2009. In November 2009, they became the President of Montserrat College of Art and served in this role until their retirement in June 2018. Stephen then became the President Emeritus of Montserrat College of Art in October 2018.

Stephen Immerman earned an Ed.D. degree in Higher Education from the University of Pennsylvania between 2006 and 2008. Prior to that, they obtained an MS and Ed.S degree in Counseling and Higher Education from the University at Albany, SUNY from 1975 to 1977. In 1971, Stephen attended the State University of New York College at Potsdam, but the degree and field of study are unspecified.
