Peter Michielsen

Peter Michielsen is a seasoned business leader with extensive experience in the food and chemical industries. Currently serving as Business Leader Europe and Business Advisor at Monument Chemical since November 2020, Peter also holds a position as Supervisory Board member for the Agri-food & Trading business at Proterra Investment Partners. Previously, Peter was a member of the Board at Citrus India Pvt.Ltd and an advisor to management at Black River Asset Management, and held multiple leadership roles at Sonneborn, LLC, including Managing Director for EMEA & Asia. Peter's notable tenure at Cargill spanned over two decades, where responsibilities included Managing Director of Cargill Flavor Systems BU, and leading significant M&A activities. Peter holds a Drs. (MSc) degree in Business Economics and General Management from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
