Jay Roach

Jay Roach, CHFM has a diverse work experience that spans across different industries and roles. Jay began their career in the U.S. Army as a Transportation Officer from 1993 to 2001. After that, they worked as a Production Operator at Sony DADC from 2001 to 2003. Subsequently, they held the position of Plant Operations/HAZMAT coordinator at Terre Haute Regional Hospital from 2003 to 2006, where they oversaw hospital workload and coordinated all HAZMAT/HAZWOPER operations. Jay also served as the Regional Response Team Taskforce 7 Safety Officer and Chairman during this time. From 2007 to 2014, Jay worked as a Senior District Maintenance Director at Golden Living, where they directed and oversaw all areas of facilities maintenance for a 2-state district. In addition, they managed and coordinated construction projects and prepared facilities for regulatory site surveys. Currently, Jay holds the role of Director of Plant Operations at Regional Health, a position they have been in since 2018. Overall, Jay Roach's work experience showcases their expertise in plant operations, facilities maintenance, and HAZMAT/HAZWOPER.

Jay Roach earned a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design from the University of Maryland Baltimore County from 1995 to 1999. Additionally, Jay obtained the Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) certification from the American Hospital Association in May 2023.
