Lisa Werdal

Lisa Werdal has over two decades of experience in healthcare operations and process improvement, currently serving as Operations Manager and Director of Hospitalist Services at Monument Health since August 2003. With expertise as a Lean process improvement consultant, Lisa focuses on enhancing hospital and clinic processes, particularly in sepsis readmissions, heart failure protocols, length of stay reduction, and infection prevention. Notable achievements include significant improvements in interdisciplinary rounding and mealtime insulin delivery efficiency. Prior experience encompasses various marketing roles, including Supervisor of Public Relations and Marketing at Hot Pink, Ink, and Media Director at Rapid City Journal. Lisa holds an M.B.A. in Project Management/Entrepreneurship from Walden University and a B.A. in Journalism/Advertising and Spanish from South Dakota State University.
