Neil Souten has extensive work experience in various finance and accounting roles within the insurance industry. Neil is currently working as the Head of Investment Reporting at Monument Re Group, starting in April 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Deputy Group Treasurer at Canopius Group from December 2020 to March 2023. Neil also served as the Head of Treasury - AmTrust Syndicates at Canopius Group from October 2019 to December 2020. Neil has previous experience as a Syndicate Accountant and Investment Reporting Manager at AmTrust at Lloyd's from November 2016 to October 2019 and at ANV Global Services from September 2013 to November 2016. Neil also worked as a Syndicate Financial Accountant at Jubilee Managing Agency Limited from May 2009 to September 2013. Earlier in their career, Neil worked at Capita Insurance Services as an Accounts Controller from September 2004 to May 2009 and as an Accounts Assistant from August 1998 to September 2004. Neil began their career as an Assistant Lloyd's Names Accountant at Eastgate Group Ltd from October 1996 to August 1998 and as a Junior Accounts Assistant at City (Run-Off) Ltd from August 1994 to October 1996.
Neil Souten attended Mid Kent College - Maidstine Kent from 1993 to 1994. During this time, they pursued a field of study in HND Building Studies.
